history
The Breban company is one of the last family owned company producing artisanal sparkling wines in the South of France. The House of Breban Wines ("Vins Breban") has been producing and supplying a wide range of wines of varying styles and aromas to restaurants and retail distributors since 1952. The grand-father, Raymond, started elaborating sparkling wine in his garage in 1942. He has then decided to add a full range of wines from Provence. Since that time, two generation have been managing the company with the same passion and philosophy for quality.Today, they are famous in France and all over the world for the quality of the wines of Provence and for their premium hand crafted sparkling wines.
Vineyard
Côteaux D'Aix-en-Provence is the second-largest regional appellation of Provence. Its geographic area, covering 49 districts, extends over the western part of lower Provence, of the Mont Sainte-Victoire to the Alpilles, from the Côte Bleue to the Durance Valley. Limestone-clay soil.
Winemaking
Stemming from a very Mediterranean assembly of grenache, and cinsault, heightened by a point of syrah, which still amplifies the fruity and the bouquet of this wine by bringing to it of a curvature and a length in greater mouth /nNo ageing.
Tasting notes
Villa Aix rosé wine is round, supple, well-balanced and harmonious. Its colour is pale with hints of gray. Delicious final on the nose, with notes of spring flowers.
Food pairing
Perfect with charcuteries, grilled fish and many white meats. best served at 8° to 10°.

This wine opens with earthy herbal aromas followed by wet stones and bubblegum with little pops of white flowers. The palate is mouthcoating and complex with flavors of ripe peach and grapefruit that take a backseat to the salinity and minerality this Rosé delivers. Pairing with food is a must.
