history
In 1957, around forty winegrowers grouped together to confront the economic difficulties of the era, pooling far more than mere financial concerns. At the time, Robert, Marcel, Yvon, Geneviève and the others, hailing from the same terroir, hewn from the same rock and sharing the same time-honoured values, set up their cooperative at the top of the hill in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg. “They chose to share their experience, their expertise and their dreams."
Vineyard
Located in the northern part of the Touraine region. It is 100 miles South West of Paris.The Coteaux du Vendômois appellation has clay-limestone slopes with beautiful sun exposure and a clay and flint subsoil.
Winemaking
The grapes are directly put into a pneumatic press, slowly fermented at 18°C, and bottled in the spring./nIn stainless steel vats.
Tasting notes
Crystal-clear yellow colour with sublte green highlights. Intense floral and fruity bouquet with a slight toastiness. Beautiful mineral freshness on the palate with citrus flavours and a hint of honey.
Food pairing
Ideal with delicatessen meat, seafood, fish and salad or simply on its own.
